The abundance of talent on Montverde Academy boys' and girls' basketball teams continue to shine as ten Eagles, including six from the girls' roster and four from the boys' roster were among the 722 nominees nationwide for the McDonald's All-American game this spring.

Montverde Academy girls' basketball team members, Cori Allen, Rusne Augustinaite, Jordy Griggs, Sahnya Jah, Mjracle Sheppard and Lety Vasconcelos along with boys' team members Marvel Allen, Kwame Evans, Chris Johnson and Sean Stewart were amongst the 722 national nominees as finalists to possibly be selected to play in the prestigious high-school all-star games March 28 at the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas.

Amongst the 722 nominees nationwide, the list will be narrowed down to 48 (24 boys and 24 girls) who will make the cut. The final roster will be revealed Tuesday, January 24 between 3-4 p.m. on NBA Today ESPN and announced across ESPN's various social and digital platforms.

So far this season, here is how the nominees have performed:

Girls Nominees:

Cori Allen (committed to University of Illinois): Averaging 8.4 points, 4.9 rebounds and is second on the team with 1.7 assists per game. She leads the team in three-point field goal percentage at 44 percent.

Rusne Augustinaite (committed to Georgia Tech): Averaging 5.4 points, 2.8 rebounds and 1.1 assists. She has made a team-high 18 three-point field goals.

Jordy Griggs (committed to University of Kentucky): Averaging 4.5 points, 2.8 rebounds and 1.4 assists. She is second on the team in field goal percentage at 53 percent.

Sahnya Jah (committed to University of South Carolina): Second on the team with 9.6 points, second with 5.9 rebounds, third on the team with 1.6 assists and second on the team in steals per game with 1.1.

Mjracle Sheppard (committed to Mississippi State): Leads the team in four statistical categories, including points per game with 11.1, field goal percentage at 54 percent, assists per game at 2.7 and steals per game at 4.3.

Lety Vasconcelos (committed to Baylor): Leads the team in rebounding at 6.4 and blocked shots at 1.1, while averaging 4.6 points per game.

Boys Nominees:

Marvel Allen (committed to Georgetown): Averaging 1.6 points, 1.8 rebounds and 2.0 assists per game.

Kwame Evans (committed to University of Oregon): Second on the team in steals per game with 1.3 and free throw percentage at 82 percent. Averaging 9.8 points, 4.6 rebounds and 2.3 assists per game.

Chris Johnson (committed to University of Kansas): Leads the team in assists per game at 3.8, while averaging 6.8 points and 2.1 rebounds.

Sean Stewart (committed to Duke University): Averaging 7.1 points, 5.3 rebounds and 1.1 assists per game.
