Coen Woodland and Seth Isenhour combined for 14 goals, and the Montverde Academy boys' lacrosse team won its home opener, defeating Lake Howell High School 17-4 at the Montverde Academy Athletic Complex on Friday evening.

Woodland netted eight goals, while Isenhour had six goals and five assists in the win for the Eagles who are now 2-0 this season. 

Drew Glass added two goals and three assists in the win, while goalkeeper Andrew Chehansky made seven saves.

MVA returns to action on Thursday for a home game against Bishop Moore at 7:00 pm.
