The Montverde Academy softball team defeated Lake Highland Prep 15-0 on Wednesday afternoon in Orlando.

Jenna Meder went 3-for-4 with two doubles, three runs and two runs batted in, while Colby Reish went 2-for-3 with a double and four runs batted in. Danika Spinogatti went 2-for-2 with two doubles and two runs. Leila Susaia went 2-for-4 with a double and a run batted in.

Ava Penkal and Nina Vazquez combined for the shutout, and struck out a combined seven batters.
