Montverde Academy baseball defeated Crooms Academy 26-0 in the opening round of the 2023 FHSAA District 9 tournament.

Manny Retana was 3-for-3 with 5 RBIs, Victor Martinez was 3-for-3 with two doubles, Eric Correa was 3-for-3 with two doubles and four RBIs and Logan Chapman went 3-for-3 with a double, a home run and five RBIs.
