Big congrats to three Montverde Academy track & field team members who not only competed against NCAA Division I college track & field stars, but all won one race each against the college athletes at the Texas Tech Corky / Crofoot Shootout in Lubbock, Texas this past weekend!

Adaejah Hodge won the 200 meter women's race in 22.31 seconds!

Issam Asinga won the 100 meter men's race in 9.89 seconds!

Issam Asinga also ran the 200 meters in the high school record 19.97 seconds while finishing 3rd against the college athletes.

Michelle Smith won the 400 meter hurdles women's race in 56.66 seconds!
