The Montverde Academy girls soccer team improved to 10-0-0 on the season, and secured its seventh consecutive shutout after an 8-0 win against Trinity Prep on Tuesday evening in Winter Park.

The Eagles were led by Reese John who scored a brace with two goals. Ale Jimenez, Joy Palacios, Sara Echavarria, Brianna Burkhalter, Isabella Igua and Luisa Tannus all added one goal each.

Burkhalter led MVA with two assists while Kendall Seays, Riley Davison, Taylor Heaton and Echavarria all added one assist each.

MVA is back in action on Wednesday night at Edgewood High School in Merritt Island in a rematch of last season's state championship game at 7:00 PM.
