The Montverde Academy girls' basketball team lost on the road Friday evening as the Eagles lost to Long Island Lutheran 73-55 on day one of the 2024 Long Island Lutheran Invitational.

Jaloni Cambridge scored a team-high 29 points in the game.

MVA is back in action on Saturday for day two of the invitational with a game against Sidwell Friends at 7:00 pm.
