Montverde Academy softball suffered its first loss of the season, falling 2-1 to Windermere High School on Friday afternoon in Windermere.
Lexi Perez was 1-for-3 with a run batted in, while Luna Taboas went 1-for-3 with a run.
The host Wolverines scored a run in the bottom of the third and bottom of the fifth to lead 2-0 through five innings.
The Eagles edged closer with a run in the top of the sixth for their only run of the game.
Jenna Meder, Elena Friedman and Danika Spinogatti also had one hit each for MVA.
Nevaeh Williams suffered the loss after pitching 6.0 innings and allowing two runs on four hits while striking out nine.
MVA returns to action on Tuesday, February 27 for a home game against The First Academy at 6:00 pm.
