Ten of Montverde Academy's indoor track & field team members took on the best the country had to offer at the Virginia Showcase in Virginia Beach, Virginia.

Several team members earned top 10 finishes and one finished as high as second place.

Reigning MileSplit Florida Freshman of the Year Dasia Reed picked up where she left off, finishing second overall in the 200 meter dash in 24.29 seconds, with fellow teammate Nakira Hudson finishing sixth nationally in 24.66 seconds.

On the boys' side, Lucas Coan earned a pair of top 10 finishes, by finishing sixth in the 500 meter dash in 1:04.56 and eighth in the 300 meter dash in 35.12.

The next indoor meet for the Eagles will be the RADD showcase in Birmingham, Alabama next Saturday (1/25/25) and Sunday (1/26/25).
