Montverde Academy boys national basketball head coach Steve Turner was officially inducted into the Washington Metropolitan Basketball Hall of Fame during a ceremony on Sunday, September 28, at the Congressional Country Club in Bethesda, Maryland.

Turner, who joined Montverde Academy earlier this year, was recognized for his extraordinary 26-year career, including the past 21 as head coach at Gonzaga College High School in Washington, D.C., where he won four WCAC championships, three D.C. State Association titles, and compiled 497 career victories while coaching dozens of Division I athletes.

Montverde Academy congratulates Coach Turner on this prestigious honor and celebrates the legacy he continues to build as one of the nation's top high school basketball coaches.
