The Montverde Academy boys and girls track & field teams saw action at the prestigious Florida State Relays in Tallahassee, showcasing their remarkable talents and determination. With a dominant performance once again, the girls won their third straight meet, finishing first of 72 teams, while the boys impressed as well, finishing seventh of 69 tough teams.

Girls Team Dominates Again!

The Montverde Academy girls' track team claimed the top spot at the event, finishing first out of 72 teams.

• Dasia Reed was the standout athlete of the meet, capturing 1st place in both the 100 meters (11.44) and 200 meters (23.61).

• Nakira Hudson also had an impressive showing, claiming 1st place in the 400 meters with a time of 54.05. 

• The 4 x 100 Meter Relay Team sprinted to a first place finish with a time of 46.04. It was the team of  Sofia Regazzi, Nakira Hudson, Arima Turner and Dasia Reed capturing the gold. and the 4x400 Meter Relay Team followed up with another first place finish in 3:53.12 with the team of Nakira Hudson, Dasia Reed, Ellise Dickinson and Lexi Fraser getting the win.
   

Boys Team Places Strong 7th

The boys' team also put forth an outstanding effort, finishing seventh out of 69 teams.

• Miles Outerbridge led the way for the boys, taking first place in both the 100m (10.47) and 200m (20.83).
