The Montverde Academy boys and girls track and field teams are set to compete in the Florida High School Athletic Association (FHSAA) Class 2A State Championship Meet this Friday, May 9, at the University of North Florida in Jacksonville. With both teams eyeing championship glory, the Eagles will look to cap off another dominant season with strong performances on Florida's biggest stage.

The girls team enters the meet as the defending state champions, and took home first place in this year's district and regional championship meets. After a stellar regular season and postseason run, the team is poised to make a bid for back-to-back titles.

Meanwhile, the boys team looks to add to its impressive legacy, aiming for a third state title in the last four years.
