The defending Florida High School Athletic Association (FHSAA) state champion girls golf team returned to the links with a win, finishing first of three teams at a tri-match at Legends Golf Course in Clermont.
The Eagles scored a 153, 32 strokes better than Windermere High School who finished second with a score of 185, followed by East Ridge High School with a 195.
Bonnie Wu scored a 35 (-1), followed by Gurbanie Star and Miao Zhuang who both shot a 39 (+3) each. Angela Liu scored a 40 (+4) in the win.
MVA is back on the course on Monday, September 8 for a tri match with Circle Christian and The First Academy at Ventura Country Club in Orlando at 3:30 pm.
