The Montverde Academy baseball program has officially released its 2026 schedule, featuring a challenging regular season slate that includes multiple high-level tournaments and a postseason path that culminates at the FHSAA State Championship in Fort Myers.
The Eagles will open the season on Monday, February 9, against Apopka High School at the Eustis High School Tournament, which runs from February 9–11. Later in February, MVA will travel out of state to compete in the Georgia/Florida Border War in Tifton, Georgia, on February 27–28.
March brings two additional tournaments, starting with the Florida League High School Invitational in Sanford from March 9–12, followed by the Bishop Moore Tournament in Orlando from March 18–20.
Postseason play begins with the FHSAA District Tournament, scheduled for April 14–17. The regional tournament opens with a quarterfinal round game on April 25, followed by best-of-three series in the regional semifinals on May 1–2 and the regional finals on May 8–9, with the higher seed hosting all games.
The FHSAA State Championship will be held at Hammond Stadium in Fort Myers featuring a best-of-three state semifinal series from May 13–16 and a best-of-three state championship series from May 18–20.
In addition to the varsity schedule, the junior varsity team will play 15 games during the 2026 season, opening on February 11 and concluding play on April 9.
