The Montverde Academy boys lacrosse team saw its season come to a close Thursday evening with a 14-9 loss at Foundation Academy in the quarterfinal round of the Florida High School Athletic Association (FHSAA) District Championship in Winter Garden.

Gavin Ionelli led the Eagles offensively with three goals, while Tanner Moore added a pair of scores. Nate Kuhn facilitated the attack with a team-high three assists.

Evan Flanagan led the way with five ground balls, and goalkeeper Angelo Ranaldi recorded five saves in net.

The Eagles conclude the 2026 season with a 6-13 overall record.
