Montverde Academy Athletics has officially released the 2026 Boys and Girls Cross Country schedules, as the Eagles prepare for another exciting season of competition against many of Florida's top programs.

The season begins on Saturday, September 5, when the Eagles travel to Ocala to compete in the Florida Horse Park Invitational, the first of five regular season meets. The regular season concludes on Saturday, October 17, at the Hawks Last Chance Invitational in nearby Minneola, Florida.

Following the regular season, the Eagles will turn their attention to postseason competition. The FHSAA District and Regional Championships are scheduled for November, with dates and locations to be announced. The season culminates at the FHSAA State Championships on Friday, November 20, at Apalachee Regional Park in Tallahassee.

The Eagles enter the 2026 campaign with high expectations. Will Moss returns as the defending FHSAA District, Regional and State Champion, while the girls' team looks to build on a standout 2025 season that included runner-up finishes at both the district and regional championships before placing among the top 10 teams in the state championship.
