“I am very proud of Emily and the way she worked towards this goal," said Director of Montverde Aquatic Club Gui Ferreira. "The season was a huge challenge but also a great learning opportunity and she did a fantastic job. We were blessed to have this support from the MVA community, teammates, coaches and families. Now we are already back in the pool training. It is an honor to race with her home country's flag in the cap. I am sure she will do it very well.”
