Congratulations to MVA girls' swim team member Emily Santos who captured gold in winning the 100 yard breaststroke at the FHSAA State Championship meet on Saturday in Ocala.

The senior swam a personal best 1:01.44 in beating the best the state of Florida had to offer!

As a team, the boys finished in sixth place overall of 42 teams, while the girls finished fifth on their side of 42 teams, led by Emily's gold medal performance!

Congrats to Emily and all the boys and girls swim team members on a fantastic 2023 high school year!
