SIMA Alumni Set to Compete in the 2025 NCAA Soccer Tournament

As the NCAA postseason begins, SIMA is once again proudly represented across all three divisions of collegiate soccer. This year's tournament field features 17 SIMA alumni competing for programs nationwide, continuing our tradition of strong postseason involvement.

Division I Representation

Division I leads the way with 12 SIMA alumni across six programs, including one of the strongest concentrations of former SIMA players in recent years.

Clemson University fields an impressive six alumni, Caleb George, Abdou Mane, Augustine Asante, Joseph Andema, Wahabu Musah, and Misei Yoshizawa, making the Tigers one of the most heavily SIMA-influenced squads in the nation. Joining them in the DI bracket is Farleigh Dickinson's Harrison Hew, North Florida's Luc Granitur, Furman's Wesley Siegel, High Point's duo of Desmond Mensah and Alfred Baafi, and Lindenwood's Mason Shale.

Division II Participation

The Division II field features two SIMA alumni competing in this year's tournament.

Florida Tech's Renato Scherrer and Gannon University's Tyler McTaggart both enter postseason play after strong campaigns with their respective programs. Both players will look to push their teams deeper into what is annually one of the most competitive and physical brackets in college soccer.

Division III Competitors

Division III includes three SIMA alumni across two programs.

Trinity University's pairing of Karlo Barbour and Matt Lim return to the postseason, while Messiah University's Jonathan Kidd adds another SIMA presence to one of DIII's most historically successful programs.

A Strong Postseason Showing Across All Divisions

With 17 alumni participating across Divisions I, II, and III, the 2025 NCAA Tournament once again showcases the development, competitiveness, and nationwide impact of SIMA players. From national contenders to respected conference champions, our alumni continue to elevate every program they join.
