Montverde, FL (December 3, 2025) – Montverde Academy girls basketball standout Missy Odom has been named the Montverde Academy Student-Athlete of the Week for the week ending November 30.
In the girls basketball team's lone contest last week, Odom delivered a dominant all-around performance at the She Got Game Classic in Kahuku, Hawaii, recording a double-double of 26 points and 11 rebounds, while also adding four steals in a tightly contested 72-69 loss to Faith Family Academy.
Now in her second year with the girls basketball program, Odom continues to be one of Montverde Academy's most versatile athletes. In addition to her success on the hardwood, she is also a talented member of the Eagles' softball team, making her one of the school's premier multi-sport student-athletes.
Odom's dedication and talent were recently rewarded as she committed to play both basketball and softball at Florida State University in Tallahassee, where she will continue her athletic and academic career at the collegiate level.
Montverde Academy Athletics congratulates Missy Odom on being named Student-Athlete of the Week and celebrates her remarkable achievements across multiple sports.
