MONTVERDE, Fla. (December 23, 2025) — Montverde Academy has announced that Dhani Miller has been named the Montverde Academy Student-Athlete of the Week for the week ending December 21, 2025, following a pair of standout performances at the prestigious City of Palms Classic in Fort Myers, Florida.
Miller played a key role in leading the Eagles to two signature victories over the weekend, averaging 21.5 points and 6.0 rebounds across the two games. His efforts earned him a spot on the City of Palms All-Tournament Team.
In Friday's opening-round matchup, Miller recorded a double-double of 22 points and 10 rebounds as Montverde Academy defeated Gillion Academy 67-61. He followed that performance with another big outing on Sunday, scoring 21 points and dishing out four assists in a statement 78-73 win over nationally top-ranked Prolific Prep in the Signature Series championship game.
A senior and Kent State commit, Miller has been a member of Montverde Academy's national program since the ninth grade. After seeing limited minutes early in his career, Miller has steadily developed into one of the Eagles' primary focal points and consistent contributors.Through the first seven games this season, Miller leads the team in points per game (16.0), rebounds per game (6.0) and steals per game (1.9), while also ranking second on the team in assists per game (3.6).
Miller's continued growth, leadership and all-around production have been instrumental to Montverde Academy's success early in the season.
Miller and the rest of the Eagles return to the court on Saturday, December 27 for a game against Archbishop Stepinac at 6:30 p.m. in the Jordan Holiday Classic in New York City.
