The Montverde Academy boys golf team made history on Thursday afternoon, capturing the 2025 Florida High School Athletic Association District Championship at Stoneybrook West Golf Course in Winter Garden. The victory marks the program's first district title since 2012.
The Eagles turned in a remarkable team performance, shooting a 279 — nine under par — to finish 11 strokes ahead of second-place Windermere Prep (290). All four team scorers posted rounds under par, showcasing MVA's depth and consistency:
With the district title in hand, Montverde Academy will compete next at the FHSAA Regional Championship on Monday, November 3rd at 11:00 a.m. at Seven Springs Golf & Country Club in Trinity, Florida. The Eagles will be aiming to capture their first regional championship in program history.
